You may notice the registered user count decreasing slightly. This is because I am removing a few bogus user accounts. Hopefully this means the number shown is closer to the real number of users we have.

So are you going to be removing the 8000 users who have never made a post?
I just had a quick look through the memberlist, and there's a section with loads of number usernames.

That's great! A little tidy-up session never hurt anybody. Also, just for my info, is Intelliot the main site admin? Just wondering. I see everytime he/she makes a statement it seems set in stone. Thanks.

Sounds like tons of fun owning a site where all are welcome by a welcoming committie. My first GC session I thought you guys were gonna take off my clothes and feed me some weird punch or something. Sorry to get off topic everyone. I'm finished. Thank you though, Andrew. You've been a big help since I came here.

This is great news. I've been annoyed for a while about the amount of program link parking that has been going on in the member list.
In fact, I'd just been going through the list yesterday, making some notes.
Some offenders really stood out.
One site spamming a resort casino had six bogus memberships, one outfit with a bunch of spam portal sites had five,
and a Russian domain (which didn't even bother making up user names) had over 30.
And I hadn't even gone back a month!
A clean-up is welcome, and it would be nice if there was a mechanism in place to prevent this from happening.

Ok I've just removed around 150 or so usernames that should help! 
Anyway it's 03:37am here "yikes" and I should be a sleep, night night!

Good idea, would clear the forum up.
you could send a email to each member saying if you don't post in 30 days your account will be removed, for the members without any posts.
