Yeah, oh well, its over now and all I can do it wait it out I suppose. I figured that being truthful with them would show good intentions but I guess not.

It all depends on the category you're trying to submit to. Usually regional categories are easier because they have less submissions, but I have 2 sites waiting for over a year now for more general categories.

Dmoz had a major server crash on Oct. 20th. They've restored the data, fixed most of the major bugs, and now they're in the process of waiting for the main machine to be efficiently backed-up. The estimated time is sometime this week, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it; none of the other estimated times panned out. |

To see if a site is listed and in which category just search for your site on Dmoz without using the WWW . |
