Up until a couple of weeks ago, my site at http://www.maureenmegowan.com had been achieving very high search engine results for most of my key words (page one, often the first or second listing) then all of a sudden many of the searchs dropped to page 4 or 5. I have more original content than 99% of the realtor sites out there and have a PR 4 ranking and have hundreds of reciprocal links (added one at a time, not a link program). Can any body give me any insight as to what happened. After my search results dropped, I shortened my title of my website because I had been advised that my previous title was way too long and that Google might have considered that to be key word packing. Yesterday my website was back on page 2 of results for the keywords "Palos Verdes Real Estate" but now its back on page 5. To make matters worse, Google is using my cached page from 2/5/06 with my old title, and yesterday it was using my new cached page with my new title.I know that the Google spyder has visited my site the last few days and that my new title had been recently cached as I saw it on several search results over the last few days, but now my new cached page is not showing up on results. Any help or insights as to what is happening would be very helpful.Any ideas why my search results would have dropped so dramatically a few weeks ago after such good results since last October. I have made no significant changes to my site other than continuing to add page content.
