Hey everyone.

Just wondering what other people thought of the upcoming World Baseball Classic. I think it's going to be difficult for the players to get in game-ready shape so close to the start of spring training. Maybe the middle of the season like the All-Star Break or at the end of the season like they do for the NFL Pro-Bowl would work out better.

Either way, I am hoping for some very competitive match-ups.

I agree, the timing is bad for many of the players who play in the big leagues in the States.
Dominican Republic is going to be the favorite for sure! I probably want watch much of it though. If ever they needed to test for steroids, it would be during this kind of competition.

Edit: Japan is looking really good so far. They crushed China 18-2 and is leading Taipai,Taiwan 9-1. Ichiro Suzuki is proving he is one of the best baseball players in the world.
