Getting index is very easy. However, you still will not rank for any keyterms until you have a PR. _________________ Affordable SEO http://www.mr-seo.com

I am not sure about that becuase I used to get rankings even when my site was new and had no PR.. So I am damn sure that people are still ranking well without having PR for that page. but getting indexed really helps in ranking well. _________________ Regards,

| that is exactly what I am talking about, you cant base rankings on PR alone. It takes better onpage work to make your site more relevent to the search than the comp.,Then if it has a lot of comp for the keyword or phrase you will need linking also, Just PR alone gets you nowhere! Like I said, I beat high PR sites all the time with lower PR sites for hundreds of keywords or phrases. If PR alone made you get top results alone then Google, yahoo and msn,and adobe and other high PR sites would controll ALL of the top ten for all terms! Think about it! |

Well my site went up mid-December 2005, I submitted to Google and MSN Search straightaway, DMOZ a couple of days later. It was in MSNS within a few days, Google took 2 months to notice it was there, and DMOZ still hasn't a clue it exists.
There are over 1000 pages of meaningful text on the site, the URLs use slashes instead of question marks, and I put up a servlet to do a sitemap a week ago: MSNS shows all the pages, and always has done whereas Google still only comes up with 45, down from 96 a few weeks ago.
So full marks to Microsoft, a Dunce's cap to Google, and DMOZ might as well just stay at home. |

I can show you many!!!!! obviously you are not looking! Do not play games with me. I OWN an SEO company also! and I am not some rookie webmaster with just a few sites. Lets not get into the integrity game here, I will post NOTHING that i can not prove! So watch your step, you will hurt your integrity more than you will gain!

Please show me I'd love to see a PR 0 out rank a five or 6. Please show me. Please do not show me low keyterms. I want to see high competitive keyphrases. _________________ Affordable SEO http://www.mr-seo.com

Also Google is doing an update. So, just because right now it is a o doesn't mean that this is the true PR. _________________ Affordable SEO http://www.mr-seo.com

| ok lets wait until the 27th, by then the update should be over. and I will show you 5 or six low pr sites that have better serps than higher PR sites, BUT this is a common occurance. You are slowly destroying your reputation. I will also use the results for a news release When I prove my point!, But if I lose you can do the same to me. And I will give my sites url for this. This makes much more at stake! Agree? |

Well the topic is going very fast now..
I agree with J- because I had my sites toping for some good keywords.. when my site was new without PR. So the race here may be won by J-
mr-seo I agree to you only if you talk about keywords that are not so easy to achive.. only then you got to take help of PR.
ex - keyword is PAGE RANK
just check which is coming first.. even google having PR over 8.. is on second or 3rd pos..
according to you the results should come in descending order... from 10 to 0
But I am sorry its not like that.
check it buddy.. _________________ Regards,

I doubt that he will take the offer. He is now trying to manipulate the terms. he wants to see a PR0 take a 5, I have just went over the post in this topic an I am sure that the term "lower" PR was used. But if I take some time i can find a few for just about any search term. So I just checked the term "mortgage" here is the results
#1:mortgage101.com= PR6
2:mortgage-calc.com= PR6
3 this is a good one wellsfargo= GREYBARED or PR0
4 mortgage.com= PR6
5 bankrate.com=PR7
6.fanniemae.com=PR7
7 mbaa.com=PR6
8 hsh.com=PR6
9 freddiemac.com=PR7
10 mp3g.com=PR0 < this might be update related
11 gmacmortgage.com =PR7
14 is quicken loans and is a PR7
18 is nationalmortgagenews.com and is a PR7
What is up with all of these PR7 sites being beat from greybared and lower PR sites?
I just checked one term!!!!!!!
Please accept the offer. This should help MY company nicely with this news release! |

for the keyword phrase "trucks" a PR4 beats several 5's 6 and PR7s in the top 20! Now there is a MAJOR difference between a PR4 and PR7. this is the quivelent of a PR0 or 1 beating a PR5
PR4 is easy to attain. I just took a new site in a major market ond in 33 days brought it to a PR3(if I would have had another 15 days it would have been a 4) the current update hit a little sooner than I expected. Going to a 5 is much harder, then even harder to go from a 5 to a 6. and harder each step you make in PR. Kind of like Army ranks, it is easy to advance in the lower ranks, but once you hit NCO level the promotions slow down, it takes a lot more to make the next jump! |
