@Last Software has a new home with Google, including their SketchUp software that brings 3D modeling to the masses. I'm downloading it now. Though the software costs $495, there's an 8-hour free trial, so I'm going to check it out and let you know what I think.

| ...Just heard about this from digg and Google Blogoscoped. I'm going to download and play around with the free trial tonight. This seems like a good utility from what I've read and heard so far. Expect a report sometime later (possibly on GSearchBlog). |

I saw this this afternoon too. Looks promising, i would download the trial, but, i'm about to reformat, and, i have absolutly no time to play around learning new software, espically in an 8 hour window.
Ill wait, im sure by november, this will be free.

I've used the program for years and absolutely love it!
Now that Google's got it, I know they are going to do even more good. They might even release a free version for us tight folks!
Gotta love what Google is doing to the internet.
