Its pretty cool. Only problem is it takes a long time on Dialup to load.

i like gmail a lot and my problem is also that i don't have anyone to chat with  ...and i dunno maybe i was hoping u would like 2 exchange emails with me my gmail adress is cyb3rang3l@gmail.com...i am very opened in making new friends and meeting new people so come on give me a try

I am a relatively new user on Gmail, but thus far I have been very impressed. It's clear that having it in the future (once Google completely rules the rest of the internet!) that having the internal gmail will be the way to go!

Our office has blocked Google chat from gmail...anyone who can crack this...we can access gmail but not the chat appalet from there...Please help! |

| Why is it that some of my contacts have a gray circle with an X to the left of their name and when I scroll over their names the Chat option is grayed out? Only two of my contacts have this issue and they both are active Gmail accounts, what gives? |

Maybe they have disabled the chat function? The thing you descibe is the way offline contacts are displayed..

I'd agree with MrAcid - it sounds like the contacts are offline.
