| It wasn't that good. It was perhaps 5 a day for two days, at most -- for me at least, and I've had my account for over two months. |

before, i heard that the faster you dished out the invites the faster google would replenish your invite supply...however i have also heard that the invite choice was/is completely random. intelliot--well, 10 gmail invites is still pretty good in terms of now when there aren't any more generated invites 
i guess once you have your preferred username gmail account(s), you don't really need or want the gmail invites...just to get rid of them. lol for me, it would get a little tiring to maintain multiple accounts but interesting in having invites and people vying for them and doing/offering practically anything (esp in gmailswap)  haha. |

lol GRox...*cough* ahem...not to blow your cover or be suspicious or anything, but I don't *love* distributing gmail invites, as I don't even have one.

Hmm...you mean poker*, not polker. Polker reminds me of polka which leads to polka dots hahaha. Wait, so you joined May 25th? I presume you bought your gmail invite shortly around that time, but you say that you received no invites. How is that so? It was just recently probably two weeks ago that Google stopped the flow of invites. I thought during the May and June period that the invites were quite abundant compared to recent times. Strange.  |

i've had my account for awhile, and still i havnt got any invites, im starting to think gmail doesn't want almost everyone to have an account before they release  , anyways im thinking they have/or will decrease their gmail invites by a lot, and thats why we aren't seeing many.
Hopefully more to come

I got my account on the 1st of July. I haven't received any invites yet. Gmail invites are becoming realy scarce. All the places I go where invites are being traded / given away I can see that people are running out of invites. (And holding on to the last ones they have got.)
I am wondering what Google is up to. Will gmail be released to the public soon? Or has google enough beta tester at the moment. Maybe they are just trying to keep gmail interesting, by holding the invites back for a couple of weeks. I don't know, but I am certainly curious. |

i feel gmail would work better if they kept it invite only, because then they could give more people invites when they expand there servers, wich will help keep down time at a low.
Unlike the other places people just sign up, and if they overload there servers then there in trouble.
