What is it with the referral link anyway? Do you get points or something when people click on them, because some people go to long lengths to get their referral link clicked

With these game-play sites, it's usually something to 'recruit' troops, or soldiers, etc. to strengthen you in the game.
I usually have a look at the main sites of these (chopping off the referral bit, of course).
This seems to be one of the better ones. You can tell, when they have a dedicated "Report Spam" link. I always use those, too.
