Sony and Nintendo have been rivals since early days, with Microsoft thrown into the mix later on, but what i want to know is, Whaich out of the Wii/PS3 would you get, I understand the xbox360 is a great console (i myself am a proud owner), but i would like to see others views on JUST the Sony/Nintendo Next Gen consoles.
I vote PS3 due to it's amazing range of games lined up, whereas the Wii had a very young target audience and a smaller range of games for the intended user's leisure

I voted PS3, because I prefer the games available. It's also the more powerful console - even if that does come with a high price increase.

My vote is for the PS3 as well. It looks really sweet. The price is a bit steep, and the 20 gig version is not a good deal compared to the high-end 60 gig version. But it's a real solid high definition entertainment machine, and will have tons of great games.

Well I thought PS3 would rox0r my box0rz, but as of now they havn't done anything spectacular, its the same sh-- just prettier. Nintendo are looking ok, and XBox I just hate.
So for it me it's going to come down to the Wii or PS3. I might even wait a couple of years for a price drop. |

AND the ps3 is very expensive, yeah it has good graphics but want a consol to really have fun with.

Sony will win this round again, but I see Nintendo taking a bit more marketshare this time around. There's a much bigger buzz for the Wii than there ever was for the Game Cube.

I see no one's voted for the Xbox360. Anyway, I go for the PS3. As Andrew said, its much much better in all respects, except maybe the price. The PS3 is much more high-end, and you can do more than simply play games.
But I won't deny that Nintendo's games, even if they are a bit simple and low-end, can be great fun.

I doubt it will be that long.
It needs to be cheaper by Christmas, and they have to compete with Microsoft.

andrew prices dont just drop afer a few months, it takes quite a bit of time it took a while for the ps2 prices to begin to drop!
