On my home version of GDS, I have a different configuration page that includes "Quick Search" the feature where you can press Control twice and get a search window. That is, not only does the feature not work, but it is missing from the Display preferences page.

The version at work does not have this feature, although both report to be version 4.2006.0509.1244-en-pb

any ideas why the same version would be different on two different machines?

I've got no idea. But it works for me. I never knew of this feature before, though.
