Well, sure. With the nature of the process, there will of course be no illegal or stolen content on those servers that were seized.
This had to have been more of a harassing action, than anything else, to relieve some of the pressure from powerful lobbies.
But it is pretty funny, when they pretend that they're all noble and just; when what they're doing is just helping people steal stuff.

To put it bluntly it's called stealing and infringing intellectual property, to put it nicely however it's a way of sharing that helps others get stuff that are normally unavailable to them. I don't blame folks if they're using BT for personal use, but commercially pirating stuff and parading it as original items, that's what peeves me off.

I prefer to use www.torrentspy.com anyways...However Pirates Bay has some hard to find torrents. It's a shame this is going on.

No it's not.
It's true that the software can be used for illegal purposes, but the underlying technology has many legitimate uses.
