I've invited a friend to Gmail, using his own computer. Now my Gmail page shows his Gmail address at the top right. I probably goofed somewhere.

On his page, I received (only once) this message "You have been logged out. You must log back in order to reenable to chat".

Now if I log in with the same name, I'm told that the name is not available...

Is it possible to retrieve my old account, and how ?

or how can I log in with the same name?

I'm really afraid to loose my contacts, the messages, and the Gmail address all my contacts have.

I'm desperate. Please help!
