Hello All,

My problem is this: I had reserved a domain name and had the site hosted by gate.com for many months without ever doing anything with it. They had a generic page setup saying something about "you have reached the future home of www.saber-systems.com blah blah blah". About 3 months ago I finally created my website. The problem is that when my site is pulled up on a google query now it comes up with the old generic summary of the page that is no longer relevant and was deleted some time ago. It seems to have the old web page cached. It's been like this for almost two months. Any idea on how to "fix" this or how long I have to wait before the changes take affect?

Thanks for quick response. How many times do I have to resubmit? I've tried resubmitting twice since the page has been updated and it hasn't helped.

Adding links to the webpage should force Google to follow them and update the cache.

Hi, I have a page that was last cached in April 2006 - but I have updated the page recently and have a google sitemap created with that page included - why is it not being updated?
