Hi  all,
 
I have seen in my log files that googlebot spiders zip files from my website. Is there any benefir allowing this or should I edit robots.txt to disallow it? The zip files are quite large (about 4Mb) and contain software setups.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think for right now all Google can read is the file names within the zip folder - I don't think they would go about running every .exe they found otherwise many script kiddies would exploit Google's network for their own personal gain...
