According to me it is partly a fiction and partly fact...

2) Did Mary Magdalene really exist?????????? If yes was she Jesus's wife?????????

I think she existed.............

It is a book. Story book == fiction. Fiction != Fact.

coming to magdalene i belive she existed n mostly his wife(chances)

The Davinci Code, as said before, is a wonderful blend of theories, facts, and fun fiction. It may be tempting to consider this a solid foundation for research into the history of religion and the theories behind Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene.

The Priory of Sion ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Priory_of_Sion ), the speculations and the actual recorded events are very well detailed, as only wikipedia can deliver. I still have troubles understanding the whole controversy against this wonderful novel and movie. Yes, the events in the book contradict many of the stories we have heard about Jesus, but that is why it is a book.
