I have been sending emails all morning and just now I noticed that when you mispell a word it has a dotted underline under the word.  When you right click the word it gives you different options for the correct spelling or to add a word to the dictionary.   Pretty neat.

Hehe, I think you recently downloaded the new Firefox 2.0? Because this is not a Gmail feature but a browser specific feature. Wink

Hmm.. Should be enabled on any textinput field by default. Check you Firefox settings:

Tools > Options > Advanced: Browsing. See if the "Check my spelling as I type" field is enabled.

GMail does have spell checking (or at least Writely does) but you have to prompt it to do it. I use FF2.0 and I use spell checking for almost every site.
