Is there any way to get an email notification when Google (or any other search engine) indexes your website changes?

You're inbox would be constantly full. Google crawls my site a few times a day (and it's only small) and the number of results for my site changes (by a small amount) daily. The best thing you could do would be to do a query like site:example.com. If you were really being clever you could script something (maybe using Python) to grab the number of results and flash an alert up at you on start up.
