I have a web site on net2go. It doesn't seem to behave like html based sites. I have tried to go through the Google process for setting up a site for Google indexing. However, I was not able to do so since the site is PHP based. At least I don't know how to do it. The site was setup by Newtork Magic and I am just getting aquainted with how it operates. I have made some modifications by adding PHP files for site monotoring and folder hit counters but not much else.

I have seen several net2go sites appear under the Google search engine but mine does not appear yet.

Does any forum member have experience in getting this type of web site found by Google?

It would help if you gave us the URL, the site being in PHP shouldn't be a problem, interlink your pages via text links wherever possible and then gain backlinks , there is no need to submit to Google!

It was generated by Network Magic and I have made two changes adding two pieces of script to places.php and adding two other PHP files for the functions. I have tried to get three search engines to locate the site but have had no luck so far. If you need to see the files I can share them with you through private message.

That looks like an SEO nightmare! I would get your own domain loose that net2go business, I know this is probably not what you want to hear but it is just a nightmare the URL you gave me redirects and when you get into it the page names are so long and complicated and you are proabbly unable to edit the titles etc. If you cannot get a new site and you just want to get this one on the engines you will have to build up links to this URL:

http://larrysmiser.home.net2go.com:8008/folders/public

You might be able to get it to the top for Larry and Kates travels but I doubt you will be able to for anything else, youv'e got one backlink now, that might be enough to get it on Google.

I looked at the code using frontpage but really don't know what I am looking for.
