Hi everyone,
This topic will be a hub for keeping track of our status on the vBulletin migration.
I'm making a goal that we migrate by the start of 2007. That means we have less than a month to do it in, which should be enough time to work out the kinks.
Here are the keys:
No broken links (redirects acceptable)
No broken HTML (Rich Text Editor posts must be converted)
I am fine with throwing out GC$ and the GC$ shop. Keep this mind if you're saving up for something, because it will all be gone in a month.
Here's why we're making the move:
Spam problems
Rich Text Editor problems
Lack of an easy "Report this post" button
Feedback and questions go in this topic.
I have finals in the next 2 weeks, so I won't have time until Dec. 12 to work on this. If you want to be in charge of the transition, PM me. We desperately need someone, but for now it looks like I'll be doing it myself.
