I've started a Google Community IRC channel on Freenode.org for all of us Googlers to have a good place to hang around and chat. Hopefully we can get a lot of participation and make some good discussions in there. Please make sure you are nice and use common sense while in there... I've set up a bot to kick users who can't do this. Here is the information.

I don't really like installing it on my computer. Isn't there a website where I can do that IRC thingy online, without installing it on my computer? Anybody has an idea, maybe?

I always use mIRC.
Some websites use a javascript based irc chat but I recomend you download a Irc client like randy said. |

Yeah well, that's the entire point, I don't want to. I know it's possible to have it online (instead of using mIRC) because other websites provide that for the people who don't like/understand these irc clients. I just don't know how it's being done...

I know that some networks offer Java based access to the service, but as far as I know, Freenode does not.
If you don't want to install mIRC or XChat, there is an IRC client that comes with the Mozilla web browser. And if you use a mac, Safari has one too.
Otherwise, I can't think of any other way to connect to the IRC channel.
