I ahve been positng and it seems as if i can only gainn GC in the introduction forum.. Is there something wrong with the system?

You cannot gain GC$ in Chit Chat, or Games and Quizzes. This is to encourage users to post in usesful topics that are informative, not just random nonsense. We want users to gain GC$ only when they make a major contribution to the community.
