I have alittle problem. I have 2 gmail accounts and I am giving one to a friend but I got it from ebay and immediatly named the invite.
How do I change the user name?
How do I change the signiture name?
I guess I am asking how do I remove all the info about me to make it a blank account to give to a fiiend?

You cannot change the username. The signature is changed the same way you set it originally, as is other information.

I guess what I need to know is how do I change the settings/name Use my name in Google Accounts (JOE SMITH)
is there a way to change that name? I can't figure it out

oh.. I see.

click Settings at the top right corner of any page on Gmail. Once you get to the Settings page, right under the Setting header, it says "Account Setting>>>". Click that, and it'll open a new page in a new browser window. on the left navigation bar of that page, click "Name and more". you should be able to change it there... you can also change the password and stuff there.

hope this anwsers you question... you can't change your username (i.e. joesmith@gmail.com) though...
