| Right now Myspace is way better. But after seeing the way Yahoo 360 copied Myspace I have to think that Google can do the same only better. Especially if they go where Myspace can't. Fewer ads, more space and faster operation. Google could integrate Picasa, Blogger, Gmail, Search, Google Talk and Google Desktop features. So if I search and find something cool I could click a button to blog about it. Maybe even see page stats from my desktop. Using future versions of Google Talk they could choose to make calling available to select friends. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. |

Its probally slow on all of your computers because you haven't got a desent internet connection on my pc its fast!!!

Depends on your definition of fast. On my system during PEAK hours it's slow. For it to work fast (loading in 2 seconds or less) I would have to be on at 10 PM or later my time.
Otherwise it takes about 5 seconds for the page to load which I consider slow.

I don't have time to go too often. But I do enjoy going, and looking around, every now and then.
It can be difficult to find things you want to look at, or participate in; but occasionally, there's a real opportunity to find a good
group of people with similar interests, or an insight into what may be of topical interest to people in other parts of the world.
You never know what a little hunting might find.

Wow my thread is still alive..
I have a good connection (6mb/s - 5mb/s peak hours)
Powerful computer, every other page loads perfect.
I see Orkut got an upgrade, you can now login using your Google Account, which IMO is great. I just hope Orkut can get better than Myspace.. I personally can't stand how people are obsessed with that ad-plagued site..

I found it terrible to log in to give away invites. I dunno why on Earth this people are requesting invitations to this hilarious product. And one last thing: I think people just got used to the lightspeed of Google services, and Orkut now seems even more slower than it is..

Well, yes, that's a good point.
There are probably a lot of people that believe that since it's a Google product, it will eventually become faster, and better-organized.
