This is an announcement in the gmail indicating the recent changes: | Quote: | # Import Contacts
You've made a list. You've checked it twice. Now you never have to check it again. Move all your contacts from Yahoo! Mail, Outlook, and others to Gmail in just a few clicks. Then simply rely on our auto-complete feature to prefill all your addresses for you. Keep all your contacts in one place and keep in touch with all of them using Gmail.
Signature options
From the settings page, create a signature that's automatically added to the end of all your outgoing messages. Change it as often as you like, but always get the last word.
# Safari browser support
Everybody's gone surfin'… now Mac OS X's Safari is surfing Gmail as well (versions 1.2.1 and newer). |

| not until recently unless you added it manually at the end of every email you sent. i personally don't use sigs in my email but for whoever does can use it i guess. these "New Features!" aren't a big deal in my opinion. i just wish the stupid link would go away from my gmail account. its starting to get on my nerves since it been there for about a week and i KNOW what the updates are by this point. |

| Pop would be the biggest thing. I've got too many pop accounts to begin with, having the one stop shopping place would be nice. |

Pop would be a great feature for something like Gmail. It would give them an edge on others. I personally would like to seem them get pop in, so when it goes public i can get a few accounts.

Hmm intersting, I really hope they get get POP3 so when i get an account there i can POP3 my yahoo and hotmail accounts to there. It would be a nice feature. Oh yeah i found out today that Yahoo has POP3 too. Interesting. Also i read on many sites that the contact list was too plain that it needed to be better or something like that. Atleast they are working on it. Another feature that is a "MUST" is ability to save a draft. It would be nice t have that feature. Well like someone said they about 3 months or so to get some of this done. And i hope they do.

I can't wait until the plain HTML version will be ready. It's going to be great if I can check my Gmail from my mobile phone. _________________ !!DO NOT POST YOUR GMAIL ADDRESS IN PUBLIC!! |
