Google said Tuesday morning that registration to request a bidder ID will end at 5 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
The auction will "commence soon thereafter," according to a Google (GOOG) statement. The Mountain View, Calif.-based Internet search company plans to sell 25.6 million shares between $108 and $135 per share, raising up to $3.3 billion in the IPO. Based on the midpoint of the estimated price range, Google would raise $2.99 billion.
Go to www.ipo.google.com to register. Of the shares to be sold in Google's initial public offering of Class A common stock, about 14 million will be issued and sold by Google and 11.5 million will be sold by the selling stockholders.
Google filed to go public in April with underwriters Morgan Stanley (MWD) and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSR). |
