Lol. you clearly don't enjoy the beauty of reading a great book. Don't you like the descriptions, and the fulfilment of finishing a book? Hmm..
Anyway, I watched the latest film of Harry Potter with no-body other than.. Darren Very Happy

ok...this is going to be a fact. As long as people want to go see the harry potter movies...thats how long the books are going to be made. Because thats where all her/his real money is coming from and thats why she is making all these new books, because she/he is getting alot off this deal.

I think it's better to first read the books beore you see the films!
Think of your phantasy ( or what is " fantasie " in englisch ? )
So, first enjoy the books and then enjoy the films!
Because if you enjoy the films first you'll not be abl to enjoy the books!
greetings,
lionstarr

So, you'd rather never taste good food, so you can eat bad food, and not know what you're missing?

its different with food...they take the same amount to eat....and with the book, its just long and boring. When i read a book, i just start skipping pages because of how meaning less it is.

I guess that some people have the temperament to be readers, and some don't.
It probably depends somewhat on when you learned to read, how, and why.

When I started reading over 40 years ago, there wasn't a whole lot of other distractions. 3 or 4 channels on black and white TV.
And even movies were more like books, then. Slower-paced, lots of dialogue, and background stories.

I also largely taught myself, also, before I went to school, just because I was interested in the stories, and found it a great source of recreation, and escape from dull suburban life.
I know this is something of a cliché, but I sometimes wonder how young people today, raised on TV, music videos, computer games and instant chat, can read at all.
I see rather an unfortunate number that are close to being functionally illiterate. When people don't know how to read, it can be painful to try to read what they've written.
After all, someone could be a genius, but it's hard to tell, when they can't express a simple thought in clear, written words.

I guess that the world needs more people like JK Rowling, who are able to write, and hold the attention of wandering young minds.

It's still one of my favourite ways to relax. And maybe ever *gulp* learn things by accident.

But the concern remains about people that can't write. I mean, what's going to be the job application of the future?

"ur compenie iz gr8!! u gotz a job 4 mee?!?"

Here's your paper hat.

ya...i hate it when people do not know proper english. I am not a rasist but....the way blacks sometimes talk just pisses me off....and whites for that matter start talking all like what they want to believe is "gangster". Which is very stupid.

I'm wondering how many black people are reading this, and laughing at the way you spelled "racist". Wink
