With the recent loss of posts in the Books forum, I want to again encourage posting. Our goal is 100,000 articles.
I'm going to raffle off a prize when we reach that number.
In addition, I'm going to give a prize to the member who writes the 100,000th post. That is, the post that this URL will link to:

We are currently at 61,417:

Only 38,583 posts to go! How are we going to get there? By posting more!
As if that weren't enough (it is), I'm going to give you another reason to post: a free domain name.
I've restocked the shop with FIVE (5) domains of your choice to give out, AND I've LOWERED the price per domain by 1,000 GC$: from 16,000 GC$ down to 15,000 GC$.
They will be registered at Yahoo Domains for FIVE (5) years and be redirected to the URL of your choice. You can also give the nameservers you'd like to use, and I'll set them. This is valid while Yahoo Domains has the $2.99/year sale. New domain registrations only.
Remember: GC$ has no cash value... but you can use them to get awesome stuff!
So, what are you waiting for? GET POSTING!

Hmmmm. This has the potential to be good, bad, and/or ugly.
I do hope that you fine-tune this a bit. Maybe a proviso or two. Otherwise, I just want a warning around Post 199,900, so I can just go watch TV or something, 'till it's over.
As it stands now, I'd just be annoyed to see someone winning a fabulous prize for saying "lol", or "That is interesting, Eric. I wonder if anyone else knew that the tomato is a fruit, and not a vegetable?".

No kidding. Looks like you've been saving up to buy Europe. Which leads me to a question I've been wondering for a while. Why do the admins award themselves GC$ for posting?
I guess that, in your case, you shouldn't be punished for being promoted from the humble ranks, but what else is there for you to do with it (aside from flaunting your wealth, or perhaps doling some out like a Feudal Baron)?
But for Intelliot, isn't it like the Governor of the Royal Mint taking a paycheck straight from the printing press?
