I've had Gmail for about a month or two and I'm only using up 1 MB. I was just wondering if I'm the only one who's using up such little space yet has a lot of e-mails.

Woah, you've had it for one week and have already used up 16 MB? I feel pathetic, haha. I haven't gotten any invites either.

You one gig in your account to avoid the necessity of deleting messages. This is the one of the main differences with other email accounts: in Gmail you do not delete, you just search. The moment you get used to the system you'll see that's a really good idea.

By the way, in a week or so I got 16 MB in use of the space provided.

A lot of people think that Google tells you to archive everything because they want to steal your e-mail or whatever, but it clearly says in their privacy statement that they won't read your e-mail. What you said about having one gig just reminded me of that, I wonder why they always remind you to archive your mail?

I know, but Google is always reminding you that you don't have to, I just think it's creepy. But I love Gmail

Well, you can always be suspicious about beeing spied but, who the hell would want to read the stupid things included in my emails? They'll misspent their time miserably...

So then do not waste your time deleting, just leave things there or send them to the trash...

They insist users because this is something other email accounts don't feature, they have to show clearly they are different (and they are).

I dunno, I like having everything neat and organized, I'm too used to deleting e-mails that I'm not going to need.
