No, orkut!

Oh. I don't use it much. Tea leaves would be a better option. It's a universal standard which all people have access to. Orkut isn't.

I'm reading Tanequil by Terry Brooks. Second volume of The High Druid of Shannara series.
Why? I was lookin for some nice fantasy. in fact I was lookin for Terry Pratchett.. just happened to stumble on this book thereby..
and coming to the book itself, I dint like it much. all the fantasy, all the magic and wizardry described is pretty good.. but I dint like the idea of spaceships in combination with magic.. it's beginning felt more like another Starwars..
maybe I shud've started with the first volume to appreciate it better..

I'm reading "The Day the Bubble Burst". I found it when we were clearing out the book shelves in our house. It's a true story about the Wall Street Crash of 1929 told from a worldwide point of view.

I'm reading lots of self help books! The one I'm currently reading is The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz and The Success Principles by Jack Canfield

Highly recommend these two books to you all!

I wont to say about Terry Brooks. His books about Shannara is rather bored. Same in all books.

I'm reading "Land of Fire" by Chris Ryan. It's about an SAS mission in Argentina, twenty years after the falklands war.
I've read a lot of Chris Ryan's novels, and this is the best yet (except from "The One That Got Away", but it's an actual account of the Bravo Two Zero mission)

i am currently reading (and i'm completely serious) the republic by plato. I picked it up from the store because well i heard plato was quite the famous man, and i like to let my mind roam over philosophy and things of the sort. It is quite a hard read but it's ideas are amazing, and so far i'm enjoying it.

Yes, I think it's good to challenge yourself with a tough read every now and then. I read, admittedly, a lot of 'fluff' for entertainment. But I try to chew my way through something of more substance every few books.
It's usually quite rewarding. One good book can stimulate years of thought.
