Yeah. If you type "google" in Firefox, you automatically go to http://www.google.com. But the same doesn't happen when you type "google" in IE. _________________

guys, it doesn't work for me, but what i suspected was you might have had some 'Plug-In' installed in your browsers that works. be careful, some of the plug-ins my be spyware.
just my thought, not trying to scare anyone. _________________ http://www.zskin.com

That's because you need the Google toolbar for it to work on IE. |
Well, I've seen that if you do have the Google Toolbar on IE, and you type in "google", you are taken to the search results for the word "google". That's what happened with me. _________________

Do you mean in the Address Bar? You have to change the default search engine IE uses, for that, I believe.
Installing the Google Toolbar doesn't do it automatically. _________________

Well, I don't know much about that. Maybe Google is the default search engine that the IE on my computer uses. _________________

Oh, and I forgot to mention, it depends upon the default search behaviour that you specify in Internet Options, on the Advanced tab.
You can change if it displays search results, or just goes directly to the moste likely site. _________________

Well, might be, but the thing is that I don't remember whether I did all that or not. _________________

Not impossible, highly improbable. As I said (but I don't think anyone noticed) it took me to "Google english" Think of the "google images" logo, but replace "images" with "english" and that's what the logo looked like. _________________ My other sig has a penguin in it.

| It still isn't working for me. Probably because I still use Firefox 0.9.3 and an unofficial Google Toolbar... |
