Internet Explorer SUCKS.
I love spending less time to find stuff (tabbed browsing, Google's I'm Feeling Lucky search when typing something in) less time opening all the forums I visit (opening entire folders in tabs) and less time cleaning my computer of viruses and spyware.

This just goes to show the superior quality of google. Firefox is superior to Internet Explorer in many ways; it's more secure, and most important of all, it's open source. I think that with time, Firefox, or perhaps Mozilla, will become the dominant browser. Besides, the Firefox logo looks 10 time cooler than the Internet Explorer logo.

I think it's interesting that Google does recommend FireFox. Just another way of striking against Microsoft perhaps?
I think the fact that FireFox doesn't come with plug-ins is a boon. Given the fact that I have a horrifingly slow internet connection, I'd like to download only the things I need to have.
Plus FireFox has a popup blocker (which SP2 now has), a skinnable theme thing-y, and um... it's open-source. Go open-source! |

Just think if Google did buy FireFox from Mozilla or whatever, Google FireFox would be a popular download then. So far for me, Mozilla FireFox has been great. I hardly use Internet Explorer anymore. But i do use Internet Explorer enough not to forget about it though. It would be cool though if Google did get its hands on FireFox, but then they probably would rune it. lol But maybe not.

No I think Google would keep everything the same and maybe just buy out Mozilla and probably keep the name the same except they would have a sign that says Affiliated with Google or something like that. But still if Google bought it out then that would be awesome. |
