Hello! I've been using gtalk for a while and something that has bugged me alot has been the gmail notification that has no close-button and will stay on top until it hides itself which usually takes way too long!
I have my windows taskbar on the top and that makes the notifier block the tray aswell as Google Talk's header and "Inbox" link-button.. I could move GTalk down but I like it up there. And when the header is blocked I can't move GTalk down to reach the Inbox-button.
blocking the tray and no way to close is bad enough I think.
