MSN Hotmail is still trying to trick people into getting extra storage by getting there Hotmail Plus plan before Google's "Gmail" goes public.

Got this email from Hotmail staff:

Don’t Lose Your MSN Hotmail Account

Important Reminder:

Keep your MSN® Hotmail® account active by signing in at least once a month. If you do not sign in for 30 days, your account will become inactive and:

• You will lose all messages and attachments currently in your Inbox and other folders.
• All incoming e-mail messages will bounce back to the sender.
• You will lose all contacts in your Contacts list.

This information cannot be recovered, so be sure to sign in at least once a month.*

You can avoid the hassle of signing in once a month by subscribing to MSN Hotmail Plus—our new upgrade to MSN Hotmail Extra Storage. As an MSN Hotmail Plus member, you are exempt from the inactivity policy while your account remains in good standing.

Preserve my account now!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I hate this crap!!!!!!!!!

I got that all the time. When I would have 1% full in my inbox it will say you are almost at your maximum storage limit. To remove this limit get Hotmail Plus or something like that. Now I don't have to worry about that. I got gmail and I am only at 1MB now. hehe.

This is about SIGNING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT ONCE A MONTH, NOT NOT NOT about your STORAGE LIMIT. Read before you type!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have an MSN account and when i first got it they had only 10MB. Now they tried to be better than yahoo and google and updated the storage to 25MB. 25MB is nothing compared to Yahoo or Gmail. I just wish MSN would upgrade again and that they would stop trying to trick everyone.

What teh flying--

I'm probably going to end up losing my Hotmail accounts pretty soon. I almost never use them, and I absolutely never get anything but spam. <_<

Yeah, I've got GMail.

Actually, I'm holding onto my hotmail account specifically *for* spam.

I use gmail and my company email for people I know, and hotmail or mail.com for signing up for stuff online, mailing lists, etc.

That way I don't have to deal with spam on a regular basis, so hotmail is good for something Smile
