Orkut invitations have been sent out to each of you.

The Orkut servers are really acting up, so please let me know if you get these invites. I keep getting the dreaded:

It keeps saying they were sent, but it also has that message at the bottom of the page. Sorta ambiguous and confusing at times. 
Let me know what happens and I'll try again immediately to get you through, if it did not work out.
Russ your comment about IBM and Microsoft is so true. It's always good to build upon a good thing. IBM invented the wheel and MS and Google are rolling it their way.
Chris, glad you enjoyed the Holiday. With booze, sports and food! How could you possibly go wrong!

I can't comment on Friendster, because I've never been a member there. Give Orkut a try though. If you don't like it, you do not have to participate in any groups.

hi my name's Ryan and I'm a student musician. i am really just interested in seeing what orkut is all about, and also would want to see if there's anyone on it who's interested in new instruments and systems of music theory like i am, like the chapman stick (www.stick.com) or the thummer (www.thummer.com). i have put those interests up on myspace but haven't found anything. i like other google services so i figure orkut will be good!
