My anti-hacker alerts me about Google Desktop

My anti-hacker utility informs me that Google Desktop is attempting to make an outbound TCP connection. I am forced to choose whether to allow or deny this connection. I want to know why Google Desktop is doing this. The URL is something like in-in-f147 . . . .

If I knew how to do so, I would post this question to Google itself, but searching through what help I can find results in no e-mail address for Google, not even a way to post a question on their website.

Someone please tell me why Google Desktop would be making an outbound connection, or how to ask Google staff about such things.
