Lesson in Friendship
If you are interested in holding to friendships and building new ones it may be helpful to remember the following admonitions as uttered by Forrest Kirkpatrick,
Don't be inquisitive about the affairs of even your most intimate friend.
Don't underrate anything because you don't possess it.
Don't conclude that you never had an opportunity in life.
Don't believe that anybody else is happier than you.
Don't believe the evils you hear about people.
Don't repeat gossip, even if its does interest the crowd.
Don't give complimets that are lacking in sincerity.
Learn to hide your heartaches and your woes under a pleasant smile.
Happiness is created - learn how to create it.
