Google has the opportunity to utilize evolving technologies (Linux, ubiquitous connectivity, increasing storage capacity, etc.) and market conditions (delays of Longhorn, overshoot of market needs by Windows, etc.) to dethrone Windows. I would be very excited if this is what the future holds for Google. Have a read and make your own conclusions.
