In the UK the iPod touch was only unveiled on Wednesday it is already available to pre-order for it's release on the 24th September! Yet the iPhone will probably not be released till after Christmas...
I've just pre-ordered the 16GB iPod Touch from Amazon as it's cheaper than the Apple site (no P+P on Amazon).
