Halo 3 is great if you like playing with your friends and don't want a too complicated gameplay beyond just shooting up the enemy.

Bioshock is only singleplayer and you can't play with friends, however, the gameplay is far more complicated as you have to hack robots, genetically modify your character and fight in strange places the entire time.

Both have incredibly terrific graphics on the Xbox 360.

However, Bioshock is playable on the PC as well, and the graphics for that are dependant on your computers abilities.

Both are incredibly good games. Buy either of them, and I doubt you will be disappointed (that all depends on whether you like First Person Shooters as well! )
