Hi, thanks for the responses. However, that wasn't the question I was asking, I already know how to change the date RANGE.

I want to be able to show weekly or monthly *TOTALS*. E.g., if I set the range for 1/1 through 12/31, I want to see 12 dots, one per month, not 256 dots, one per day.

This is because the spiky nature of daily data hides trends; it is very hard to compare month to month or quarter to quarter looking at daily data, even if you stretch the range to cover the whole year. Or, being able to add display a trendline would be helpful.
