Smile How to make my personal web page 'found' by Google?

Dear Friends,

I've recently trasferred my personal web page from my university server which I can no longer log on to, to geocity. I've found my university page automatically picked up by Google a few years ago (http://www.swan.ac.uk/cals/staff/shei/index.htm) but this does not seem to happen to my new web page (http://www.geocities.com/ccshei/). This is an academic non-commercial web page useful for students and perhaps fellow researchers (and of course for introducing myself and promoting my own work). I wonder if anyone could tell me how to make my new web page visible (i.e. able to be picked up by Google search) without involving commercial activities? Thank you all.

Chris
