Depending on the difficulty of the name this project can become a very time consuming and perhaps a costly job.

If your name has a lot of competition then you're in trouble. That means it will take a lot of work to build pages and get them to rank. But remember you can use existing positive pages and optimize the (they may be easier and faster to optimize as they have been online longer and are seasoned.).

for example if your name is Jon Smith, you have quite a campaign on your hands. but at the same time you shouldn't worry because that name is so common that no one can expect that all the Jon Smiths that come up on Google are you.

But if your name is like mine, you shouldn't have any problems getting some good publicity up there.

But in reality its a very doable job. You just have to be consistent and work at it.
