No help here, I'm just a newbie with more grief. I see you haven't been answered for a month; this is not a good sign.
I don't get an icon at all. Furthermore, right-clicking the mouse does not produce a google menu. And I can't delete the notebook because I can't find it in any of my browsers. Spotlight can't find it. Quicksilver can't find it. My Account does not offer me the option of deleting it.
