I believe that any Google approved link to your site is an asset. How much of an asset, I don't know. But, it only makes sense that, the more quality links you have pointing to your site, the better. The question is, what does Google consider a quality or relevant link. I believe a quality link is any that follows the webmaster guidelines. A relevant link is one in your niche or genre. So, IMO, any of these links would be a benefit no matter the PR.
