just my opinion, but i think a desktop is a MUCH better investment. Yeah, you could say that laptops are portable, but they cost much more than a desktop with the same features. Also, if you get the right case and parts, a desktop is actually more portable than you may think. Also, desktops are SO easy to upgrade, where as laptops have less parts and are just confusing nonetheless.
But the decision is yours. Im just giving you some input of my own.
