Its likely the water got in and shorted one of the circuits that controls the gamma, you may want to see if you still have a warranty on it or if its worth fixing.


I recommend, if you're out of warranty, just opening the monitor and checking for any broken wires or rusted connections, unless you're scared of elecrticity, then just get used to it.
