If you are logged into your gmail or other google account like My Groups. Then when you visit just
www.google.com you will see:
[email]youremail@gmail.com[/url] | Personalized Home | Search History | My Account | Sign out
menu bar in the upper right corner. And so you can switch instantly back and forth between these views. But if you are not logged in, then when you visit the google.com page, you will see a login menu in the upper right corner and no link to the personalized page.
