Earnings have skyrocketed, should I be scared?

Up until recently I have only been using Adsense as a means to collect a bit of pocket money on the side, but now I am wanting to seriously look at quiting my day job to work full time on my websites. I've been doing a LOT of reading on SEO, and have found that the way my website generates page title and meta data (as well as a few other things) was causing a lot of irrelevant ads to be displayed on my site. A week or so ago I altered my code to change this to be more Google friendly, plus I also changed the placement, size and colour scheme of my ads.

The results have knocked my socks off, as within a couple of days of doing this my CTR and revenue has increased massively from a couple of dollars a day on weekdays, to over $20 a day. At first I thought it was just because it was new and catching the users eye, but the increase in daily revenue is continuing to climb this week (over $30 today). At first I was over the moon, but then I became really scared all of a sudden as I've read a lot of stories about Google suspending accounts with little notice or explanation. I've been using GoogleAds for 2 years, and in that time it has only been climbing at a slow rate. My fear is that as my earnings have been pretty minor (and they still will be), and then in a matter of days my earnings and CTR have gone through the roof that Google might look at this and think it is click fraud (which it is not). Are my fears unfounded, or is there something I should do to let Google know what I did on my site that resulted in the increased earnings?
