Changing Date Format

Well, this is to launch a global date standard. I've been involved many times in deciding what the actual date of an article is (old or new article). In many countries this date 03/04/54 means either March 04, 1954 or 03 April, 1954 (say that the writer means 03 of April 1954). It all depends where you live.
This could lead to misinterpretation of documents, photos taken in the past, missed encounters, software date interpretation that's confusing when the program is exported to a country that uses different date model,etc.

So, I've come up with an idea that if supported by the bloggers it could put our leaders to consider implementing this date standard worldwide in order for us to know what date the writer is talking about, no matter what part of the earth that article is read.

This is the idea (I think it'd not interfere with the computers swichting to it, becasue of the same digits they use at present):
For the DAYS, we'd always use the digits 01, 02, 03, ....,29,30,31. And for the MONTHS we'd use the digits 41 for January, 42 for February, 43 for March, ......49 for September, 50 for October, 51 for November and 52 for December. The numbers 4 is to substitute the number 0 and the number 5 is to substitute the number 1, that we presently have in our date format -in numbers- for the months. Then the date above stated would now look ... 03/44/54 or if liked 44/03/54. If you read this date in the USA, Afganistan, China, El Tibet, Argentina, Spain or wherever, once it had been admitted for all countries, no one will interpret a different date. Always the same 03 of April 1954 or April 03 1954, which at the end means the same thing.

1. What date is this... 51/03/06 ?

2. What date is this ... 49/12/06 ?

3. What date is this ... 11/50/06 ?

4. And this ... 21/52/06 ?

Well, big changes start with small things. I'd like to hear as many opinions as possible and perhaps this or a better idea than this, but that at the end it takes us to solve this inconvinience of different date models that at the present we have.

Bien, este blog es para lanzar a la opinión pública un formato de fecha que se use a nivel mundial. Me he visto involucrado muchas veces en adivinar en qué formato está escrita una fecha de algún artículo (viejo o nuevo). En muchos países esta fecha 03/04/54 significa una de dos, ó Marzo 04, 1954 ó 03 Abril, 1954 (digamos que el escritor y para efectos de este ejemplo, quiso decir 03 Abril, 1954). Todo depende del lugar donde usted viva.
Lo anterior podría llevarnos a malas interpretaciones de documentos, fotos tomadas en el pasado, citas importantes perdidas, fechas en software que traen confusion cuando el programa es importado de un país con formato de fecha diferente, etc.

Siendo asi, se me ha ocurrido una idea que si la apoyamos podría hacer que nuestros líderes lo consideren para implementarlo a nivel mundial, de manera a saber con seguridad a qué fecha se está refiriendo el escritor, no importando en que parte de la tierra usted leyó el artículo.

Esta es la idea (creo no interferiría con una computadora cuando esta haga el cambio, ya que se usa el mismo número de dígitos):

Para los DÍAS, siempre usaremos los dígitos 01, 02, 03, ..., 29, 30 y 31. Y para los MESES usaremos los dígitos 41 para Enero, 42 para Febrero, 43 para Marzo, ..., 49 para Septiembre, 50 para Octubre, 51 para Noviembre y 52 para Diciembre. El número 4 es para sustituir el número 0 y el numero 5 es para sustituir el número 1 que usamos en el presente en nuestro formato de fechas –en numeros- para los meses. Entonces la fecha mencionada al inicio ahora se escribiría .... 03/44/54 or si deseado 44/03/54. Si usted lee esta fecha sea en los USA, en Afganistan, China, El Tibet, Argentina, España o donde sea, claro, una vez este formato de fecha que sugiero fuese aceptado por todos los países, nadie interpretará la fecha de manera diferente. Será siempre 03 Abril 1954 or Abril 03, 1954, lo cual al final viene a ser la misma cosa.

Algunos ejemplos como ilustración:

1. Qué fecha es .... 51/03/06 ?

2. Qué fecha es .... 49/12/06?

3. Qué fecha es .... 11/50/06?

4. Y esta que fecha es .... 21/52/06?
